Can Lampazas–Barcelona
If you like octopus, I think Can Lampazas is the right place to go and enjoy this and many other plates.
Can Lampazas has 2 places in Barcelona and I’ve been in both. My first visit was to the restaurant on Buenos Aires street, a nice place on a quiet corner. But, the photos here are from my 2nd visit to the restaurant at Paral-lel Avenue. The place is really spacious and has 3 different areas – terrace, small corridor, and a big room. This main room is close to the open kitchen with a grill, where you can see how the food/plates are prepared before come to your table. The decoration is modern, clean, and beautiful. To finalize the description, the waiters are fast and always ready to help you with any questions about your order.
Can Lampazas is a “pulperia” (a place specialized in octopus), but also a grill with a lot of meat plates. During my visit, I ordered from artichoke to pig’s ear – and obviously octopus. This is an example the menu covers all types of food that you wish. Of course that my special point is the octopus. I ordered grilled octopus and was delicious, and very well-prepared. Please go there and order! You won’t regret it…
To drink you will find a lot of options as well. Wines (red/white/cava), beers, cocktails, and spirits. There is a good house wine with a nice price as well. So, if you want to drink wine while enjoying your plate, this is a good choice.
